FAQ

Q: I have an idea, where do I start?

A: Talk to us! We have a proven methodology for developing an idea – whether that is a new product or a solution to a problem. That process is simple:

  • Evaluation – Where we talk to you and look at your existing equipment (if applicable) to see what is going on.
  • Brainstorm – Where we begin discussing your and our ideas
  • Research – Looking to see if there is an existing solution or if this will be a newly developed project
  • Integrate – Installing existing solution or launching a new solution
  • Support – Maintenance and support after the install / launch of your solution
Q: Do I always need to build my idea from scratch?
A: Not at all! Many times there are existing solutions and it will be faster and more cost effective to use them. We can help you research, implement, and support out of the box solutions.
Q: What about a robotic arm, will it help me?
A: Sometimes a robotic arm will be the solution you need, but sometimes it won’t. It all depends on the problem you are trying to solve and if a simple mechanical solution would be better than a complex mechanism such as a robotic arm.
Q: How long does development take?
A: This is something that depends on the project. We can go through our evaluation process and give you a rough estimate, but with any sort of development work, do expect it to be an iterative process that can’t fully be defined.
Q: How much does development cost?

A: This also depends on the project! We can go through our evaluation and research process to give you a better idea. A scope of work will give you better numbers for the different phases of the project.

Q: What is the development process like?

A: We have a proven methodology to determine the best solution for your project- it looks like this:

  • Evaluation – Where we talk to you and look at your existing equipment (if applicable) to see what is going on.
  • Brainstorm – Where we begin discussing your and our ideas
  • Research – Looking to see if there is an existing solution or if this will be a newly developed project
  • Integrate – Installing existing solution or launching a new solution
  • Support – Maintenance and support after the install / launch of your solution
Q:What is Robotics?
A: Robotics is really a combination of different disciplines and we use all of them to find the best fit for your need.

• Mechanical Solutions
• Electronic Solutions
• Automation Solutions
Q: Is robotics the best way to build a solution?

A:

Q: What are Oklahoma Robotics Capabilities?

Our team covers a wide spectrum in the world of STEAM – automation, mechanical, electrical engineering, CAD, circuit board design, software, integration of all these disciplines

Q: Can Oklahoma Robotics help manufacturers?
• Absolutely!  In fact we have extensive experience with design, building, and maintaining industrial and automation systems.
Q:What type of equipment do you use for your prototypes?

A: We have a lot of equipment that we use to build plastic and metal prototypes for testing and pre-manufacturing including:

3d Printers
Plasma cutter
Laser CNC
Machining Equipment
